Quarter finals are yesterday's menu, the soup de jour is all kinds of predictable upsets as Smithy Forrest curse continues. The bracket now has a new King Cobra in town with Balti striking down the almighty Madras to put themselves in contention for the title on pitch 1. Meanwhile that was happening, Vindaloo without their charismatic sideline singalong were hopeful to overcome a last game defeat against Biryani but instead got overloaded with saturated fats and lost their quarters match to Butter Chicken.
That leaves us with 2 top half, and 2 lower half teams carving their way to a potential curry championship. Meanwhile, everyone else will be hoping their finish in a odd-numbered position so that they can at least get their hands on some cash. CASH? Say what now? For those of you who are new here, there is cash to be won towards a bar tab for every team at the end of the night, it all depends on how well you've done:
1st Place = £100 bar tab at Leadbelly's
3rd Place = £30 bar tab at Leadbelly's
5th Place = £20 bar tab at Leadbelly's
