Winter League - Shards of Glass
If you look closely in that beautiful picture from 2 weeks ago, you'll notice just how hard everyone is trying to make new friends...its adorable and we love it!
Last week was another gorgeous day for frisbee as our teams are more familiar with their teammates now and able to have confidence that if they throw it away, a Ka-Pow! player is sure to throw it away right after to get the disc back and that's the magic of Winter League.
As written about in my last post, Hyde Park was defending the top of the table from the Shard but they were unsuccessful as the pointy building takes top spot on the table. However, they have to come up against Big Ben and Leicester Square's Chinatown who have everything to win and nothing to lose as they are showing up with fire in their bells and dumplings in their hearts!
Buckingham Palace is still reeling over the queen's death and are yet to put a win on the board. That could change tonight as they look to change their guard and make their royal ascent!
I won't be there tonight so expect someone with a much more English accent to be running things and if you could all try to remember your scores and put them in the WhatsApp group, that would be amazing. For now though, here's the standings and the fixtures...
