Winter League - Smack the Bottom of that Bottle

Its time to find out which sauce bottle/pot still has something left in it as we head into the final week of Winter League for Season 1. Last week was the final game of the regular season and the start of the playoffs. The true cinderalla story of the day was Brown Sauce lifting themselves from 6th to 5th by winning their last regular season game on universe and then bulldozing the weary Red Sauce to squeeze their bottle into the Semi final against top team Malt Vinegar.


Contraversy surrounded the 3 v 6 game which saw Horseradish coming into the evening with 5 FMP's on the roster but only 2 actually making it to the pitches. As a result they lost their last regular season game. However, thanks to the truly heroic efforts of Connie Lynch switching teams in the Quarters and playing for the underdogs they were able to come back from an 8-0 deficit to win. The radishes will need to pucker up as they come up against the team from the Shire of the Worcester.

Question is, sure they've had breakfast, but what about second breakfast?


For those of you who are new here, there is cash to be won towards a bar tab for every team at the end of the night tonight, it all depends on how well you've done:

  • 1st Place = £100 bar tab at Leadbelly's

  • 3rd Place = £30 bar tab at Leadbelly's

  • 5th Place = £20 bar tab at Leadbelly's

  • 7th Place = £10 bar tab at Leadbelly's
