Winter League - S2 - Week 3 - Finally Winter

We did it! We finally made it to the winter weather. After almost 7 weeks of "Post-Summer" league we are going to finally get to understand how teams perform with different conditions other than "perfect".
Before we jump into the recap I want to remind everyone that this is a recreational league. While we do our best to add an element of competitiveness, the general level of "agg" has increased to an uncouth (hope I used that word right) level. I would like to gently remind everyone this is a fun league and we are here for fun. That's all I'll say and hopefully you can all look each other in the eye more directly afterwards in the pub for more fun!
Onward with the recap...I'll admit, I might have accidentally stacked the Firefighters but that was when the weather was perfect, they are coming up against the Scientists and Lawyers, both noble professions that will use their brains over their brawn to extinguish this run of 4 wins.
In other news, the Maverick and Goose finally showed up and the Pilots put some wins on the board, they hope to keep flying high. Teachers are handing out detention left right and center as they climb to second on the table, lets see where everyone else stands:
