Winter League - S4 - Week 6 - This is It

This is it, the final week of the season and the league for the 2024/2025 iteration. What a blast its been and boy am I really grasping at straws with what to write about after being overseas for the last 2 weeks. Looks like there was definitely some ultimate played because I have scores submitted to me but beyond that my level knowledge as to how teams performed is severely lacking. That's okay, you don't care about me, you care about what's up for grabs so lets do that instead!

Semis and finals are coming up tonight and for those new here, there is a lot to play for...bar tabs after the games

• 7th Place = £20 bar tab at Leadbelly's

Thundering Herd 2 is still open to new players looking to play in the mixed division!

Thundering Herd 2 has firmly established itself as one of London's strongest and most welcoming mixed Ultimate teams. Consistently competing across all UKU tournaments—including Regionals and Division 2 Nationals—the team continues to grow, thrive, and provide excellent opportunities for player development.

There will be second team sessions on Thursday nights, and all club trainings on Saturdays, providing the best opportunity to hone your skills and build chemistry with your teammates. This season, the squad benefits from dedicated coaching from Sion Reagan and Andy Moss, who are committed to supporting players of all levels to reach their full potential. Whether you're aiming to sharpen your competitive edge or seeking an accessible entry into the vibrant Ultimate Frisbee community, Thundering Herd 2 is the place for you.

I have discs for sale and they have been referred to as being "cute". Somebody please buy these off me, I have to make room in my flat for other stuff.

Summer League

Its happening. Wednesday nights (6pm to 8pm) during the summer will be 7v7 hat league at Bacons from 7 May. There will be space for 64 people in 4 different seasons throughout the summer. It will be casual, it will be fun-key low-key and it will give you another excuse to miss club training but you didn't hear that from me. Registrations for this will open in April.
